Welcome to The Testbed Site
This site has been created to allow the CompuSkills students the opportunity to experiment with web design techniques and styles, all leading towards the aim of producing high quality, exciting websites for our customers.
On this site, and the example pages it leads to, you will find a selection of layout styles and attempts to work round browser quirks. Some will be more successful than others! If you see some thing you either really like or dislike then please let us know.
You can either contact us by email (see "our contact page" for more details) or you can voice your opinions on the chat board we have set up in conjunction with www.sci-tech.co.uk.
In line with CompuSkills policies, this page, along with most of the subpages developed here, uses valid XHTML and CSS level 2. All designs aim to be as accessbile and cross browser functional as possible. If you identify any flaws with our approach please let us know. As this page uses CSS level 2, it will display best in a browser that supports the recomendations.
Once you have looked at this page, you can view additional samples of student work. CompuSkills actively encourage feed back so please let us know what you think of the design and it's accessibility. Please note - the pages that make up this site are not real companies, they are constructed to give our students the chance to experiment.
